Children are often considered as passive beneficiaries of WASH Innovations. We believe that should not be the case. Children should be active participants in all decisions that affect them. They should be given a platform to demonstrate their creativity in finding hashtag#climate resilient solutions to WASH problems that impact them.
So, in the coming few months, WASAReC, hashtag#Chevening Alumni Association of Zambia, and hashtag#LuWSI will be running a ‘Young WASH Voice Campaign’ to enhance children’s voices on WASH.
Follow us starting September for updates as we mentor children and prepare them to identify problems, collaboratively find solutions and on presentation of ideas on topical issues around WASH in their community.
