Today, we flagged off the Keep UNZA Clean Drive under the youth-led Lusaka Trashformers Project supported by the Youth Climate Action Fund of Bloomberg Philanthropies and GIZ Zambia’s NatuReS Programme II under the Community Water and Environmental Stewardship Approach.
The drive aims to continue raising awareness and inspiring good waste management practices within the University of Zambia community. It builds on the earlier training of the Student Waste Management Champions, who are now taking the lead in promoting responsible waste disposal, recycling, and environmental stewardship across campus.
