WASAReC continues to be a committed partner in the Zambian WASH sector. Today we joined the rest of the world and our nation in commemorating World Water Day themed “Accelerating Change in the Zambian Water Sector through Partnerships and Cooperation”
This year’s event was held in Mumbwa, Chief Mulendema’s chiefdom.
As an organisation that believes in community engagements for sustainable WASH solutions, it was elating to see the senior Headman and his team being recognised as champions of community water resources management.
Partnership and cooperation for a water change resilient Zambia is not and should not only be at Cooperating and implementing partners level. It should involve communities and individuals.
