Our organization provides young staff (volunteers) with the opportunity to engage in an environment that fosters independent thinking and innovation, while also receiving guidance from experienced researchers. Our team takes pride in mentoring young talents and promoting creative thinking. Our overarching goal is to create opportunities for meaningful youth participation in shaping solutions for a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future.
We are honoured to recognize the achievements of Benard Nkole, who was selected as one of the 25 winners out of 240 presenters from 34 countries at the 2023 Commonwealth Chemistry Virtual Event. The winners were announced across eight of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely, Affordable and Clean Energy, Clean Water and Sanitation, Climate Action, Good Health and Wellbeing, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Quality Education, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Zero Hunger.
Working under the mentorship of Dr Funjika, @Benard presented an innovative solution called the “Climate-resilient reverse drip irrigation system (CRRDIS)” in the Clean Water and Sanitation category.
Our organization is proud to foster the development of young talents such as @Benard, who have demonstrated their ability to think creatively and develop solutions to complex problems.
We remain committed to nurturing the talents of young volunteers and developing their potential to contribute to a sustainable future.
