The Centre for Water, Sanitation and Rehabilitation (WASAReC) proudly congratulates the Lemna Forge Research Team, led by Eng. Desly Kalonga, for advancing to the semi-finals of the World Food Forum Transformative Research Challenge.
The team is developing the ModuDuck Floating Duckweed Protein System, an innovative research concept exploring the potential of indigenous Zambian duckweed as a climate-resilient source of protein for food and animal feed.
Reaching the semi-finals is an exciting achievement and a proud moment for WASAReC. It reflects the team’s creativity, commitment and passion for developing locally driven solutions to some of our most pressing development challenges.
Management and Staff are incredibly proud of the LemnaForge Research Team and wishes them every success in the next round.
Congratulations, Team LemnaForge! We are rooting for you! ππΎπ±
